  • DO I NEED A MEDICAL CERTIFICATE ?
    You don’t need any medical certificate to participate in the Generali Genève Marathon.
  • I HAVE AN ISSUE WITH MY REGISTRATION FORM
    Contact us via email at info@genevemarathon.org with the subject: REGISTRATION FORM PROBLEM and send us a screenshot of your issue alongside a detailed description.
  • I DID NOT RECEIVE MY CONFIRMATION EMAIL
    On the following link: https://in.njuko.com/generali-geneve-marathon-20241693555359767, I click on “My order” then “Click here to have your confirmation email re-sent”. Don't hesitate to check your spam folder, as our first emails sometimes end up there. If the problem persists, contact us via email at info@genevemarathon.org with the subject: CONFIRMATION EMAIL
  • I HAVE AN ISSUE WHILST PAYING FOR MY REGISTRATION
    Was your registration confirmed but you are now unable to return to amend your details? Contact us via email at info@genevemarathon.org with the subject: PAYMENT PROBLEM
  • I WANT TO CHANGE MY RACE
    If you wish to change your race this is indeed possible under certain conditions : For a cheaper race: email us at info@genevemarathon.org but please note that no reimbursement will be made. For a more expensive race: email us at info@genevemarathon.org and we will change your distance. Please note that you might pay the price difference. Once the payment done, your new registration will be validated and you will receive a confirmation email.
  • HOW TO FIND THE START WAVE I HAVE SELECTED?
    You can find the start wave you have chosen in your runner’s area. This start wave  can be modified, but you will not receive a confirmation email reminding you of the slot you have chosen.  That is why, if you modify it several times, we invite you to go to your runner’s area to easily find this information.
  • I WANT TO CHECK/MODIFY MY PERSONAL DETAILS
    Log on into your runner’s profile and click on “edit my entry”. For more specific changes, such as the name on your bib, contact us at info@genevemarathon.org PLEASE NOTE THAT NO BIB TRANSFERS ARE ALLOWED
  • I WANT TO TRANSFER MY REGISTRATION
    The organization will not allow any transfer of registration!
  • I WANT TO CANCEL MY REGISTRATION
    If you paid for the cancellation insurance at the time of registration, you can ask for a refund by logging onto your runner’s profil with your registration code and email. Then I click on “Apply for a refund”. IMPORTANT: you can only subscribe to the cancellation insurance at the time of registration, and until May 3rd 2024 included. Please refer to the event rules for more details. If you did not pay for the cancellation insurance at the time of registration, we won’t refund your registration fee. All registrations are personal and final, none can be reimbursed, or transferred to another year or another individual.
  • HOW TO ORDER MY MEDAL PLATE?
    In order to personalise your medal, you need to go back to your runner’s area and click on “edit my registration”. Scroll down the form to the “personalise your medal” section and select “yes”. Don’t forget to save your changes at the bottom of the page and proceed to payment to save your choice! You will then receive your medal plate a few weeks after the event directly at home, by post. And if you have already ordered it, you just have to wait!
  • HOW TO WIN THE TEAM CHALLENGE?
    For each team challenge, 2 rewards will be available: 1 reward for the team that has run the most km (all races included). 1 award for the team with the best time. The ranking will be based on each team’s fastest three runners.
  • I CANNOT COME AND COLLECT MY BIB PERSONALLY
    If I cannot come and collect my bib, a third person can do so as long as they have: ​ - a copy of my identity document - my withdrawal voucher (sent by email one week before the event). ​ ATTENTION ! NO BIB IS SENT BY POST
  • WHAT IS THE TIME LIMIT ON A RACE?
    The time limit represents the maximum time that a participant has to complete the full distance of the race course. This time limit is calculated on a walking pace basis so do not panic, in theory rare are the cases where participants exceed this limit. WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM OUT OF TIME? The organisation on D-Day has to deal with important logistical issues. We have a compromise with the city so as not to block road access for too long. The organisation reserves the right to remove your bib if you exceed the time limit set on your race format (you can still finish your race but the security of the participant will no longer be engaged by the organisation).
  • WHAT ARE THE REFRESHMENTS OFFERED?
    At our refreshments, we offer oranges, bananas, salty and sweet biscuits and Enervit products (gels and isotonic drinks)
  • WHERE CAN I PUT MY STUFF?
    A locker for your personal belongings is organized for all races excluding Junior Races. The official bag given with your bib must be used for this instruction. Be very careful where you drop off your bag, it differs depending on the race! 5km: Drop off between 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. at Quai Gustave Ador. Recovery until 7:30 p.m. at the same location. 10km: Drop off between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. at Quai Gustave Ador. Collection until 9:30 p.m. at the same location. Semi: Drop off between 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. at the Gare des Eaux Vives / Ch. Frank Thomas. Recovery until 12:00 p.m. at Quai du Général Guisan Marathon: Drop off between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. at Gare des Eaux Vives / Ch. Frank Thomas. Recovery until 3:30 p.m. at Quai du Général Guisan.
  • IS THERE A CHANGING ROOM AVAILABLE?
    A changing area will be located near the bag recovery trucks.
